What works now?
Email/password signup with verification, Google sign-in, password recovery, public media uploads, camera recording where supported, public video publishing, account drafts, profile edits, following, personal likes and saves, comments and replies, share links, creator discovery, blocking, theme preferences, and account-record exports are wired to real browser or built-in services.
Sample feed clips are labeled and never count as verified engagement or earnings. Public profile handles are display names, not unique verified identities. Personal follows and likes are stored, but platform-wide follower and engagement verification is not yet installed.
AI generation setup
The backend includes Runway Gen-4.5 text-to-video and image-to-video connectors. The owner sets RUNWAY_API_KEY in backend Secrets and pays Runway directly. Owner-only generation protects against unmetered visitor spending. Submit an image, retrieve genuine task status, request cancellation, review output, and confirm publication. Account quotas and charging must be connected before opening generation to all users.
Gen-4.5 uses the connector’s supported 5/10-second and vertical/landscape dimensions. Vertical 9:16 and landscape 16:9 are available. Text-to-video uses Gen-4.5 and requires that model’s provider access and credits. Styles are prompt instructions, not guaranteed outputs.
Storage and privacy
Built-in file storage is public. Draft metadata and saved items use private account-scoped key-value records, but uploaded files are still public. Private videos, one-to-one chat, identity documents, private live rooms, and full account deletion require a protected server data service and private storage. Never upload identity documents here.
Live streaming and notifications
Connect a streaming provider such as LiveKit with server-issued room tokens, moderation, reporting, and reliable TURN connectivity. Push notifications require an approved push delivery setup and device consent. Realtime is connected for public feed events only; it is not durable message storage.
Earnings, gifts, and Pakistan payouts
The built-in checkout capability is not a creator payout system. Before enabling coins, gifts, rewards, or withdrawals, the operator needs provider approval for the intended Pakistan use case, identity verification, protected financial storage, signed webhook verification, atomic and idempotent ledger posting, and reconciliation. Fees, eligibility, and availability must be confirmed with the approved provider. TOKIO currently creates no financial balances or coin entitlements.

- Share only content you own or have permission to use.
- No harassment, hate, exploitation, dangerous content, or fraud.
- Respect privacy and do not publish another person’s sensitive information.
- Disclose AI-generated content and do not impersonate others.
- Use blocking and reporting responsibly. Reports are stored privately until secure moderation delivery is connected.
Terms and costs
These are initial service rules, not a completed jurisdiction-specific legal agreement. Content must comply with community guidelines and provider policies. AI and live services may incur provider charges. Earnings are never guaranteed. The operator must publish approved legal terms, age policy, retention rules, and payout terms before a public production launch.
Privacy overview
Account-specific preferences, saved items, draft details, and job references are stored in private account-scoped built-in storage. Public posts, creator profile summaries, and comments are visible publicly. Media files are public. Only a theme preference is stored on your device. Export and erase controls are available in Settings.
Frequently asked questions
Do I earn money for every view?
No. Only a provider-approved creator program may finalize eligible earnings after original-content, watch-time, identity, and anti-fraud validation.
Are drafts and private videos fully private?
Draft details are private to your account, but any file uploaded to built-in file storage is public. Private video publishing is disabled until private storage is connected.
Why can’t I send messages or go live yet?
Private messaging and live rooms require an authenticated provider and protected recipient or room authorization. TOKIO does not replace these with public channels or fake success.
